Battletech!

Ok, so I finally finished my first "Lance" of Battletech stuff, organized as a Recon Lance as originally conceived: two Locusts, a Stinger, and a Phoenix Hawk. They have all been modified to one extent or another. 

Fun stuff.

I hope I get to play soon o.0

Old West: All Together Now

So here's all my Old West stuff so far. The barrels and crates will probably migrate to being clusters on bases. I have a few more printed, but I am done with this for a bit, I think.

Battletech: Intro Game

Jason was over tonight to demo some Battletech and provided my dream force: the originally conceived Recon Lance of two Locusts, a Stinger, and a Phoenix Hawk. He opposed me with a Warhamster, a Shadow Hawk, and a Wasp.

Miraculously, I won.

I did a thing. I blame Kurt.

I printed the Sherrif's office 10 years ago. I built it this morning. The vaquero was finished about seven years ago.

The office is from the Rio Draco set by Fat Dragon, and the vaquero is by Reaper Miniatures.

Octopods In Dragon Rampant...

Hooray! I managed to squeeze in a 36 point game of Dragon Rampant yesterday morning, using my Papercraft Octopods Of Doom against Mike's Amazing Alliance Of Lizardfolk, Orcs, Trolls, and Humans.

The Amazing Alliance won.

I fielded:

Elite Foot + invisibility, single model
Elite Foot + invisibility
Heavy Foot + invisibility
Light Foot + mixed weapons
Bellicose Foot + unseen (terrifically shiny) armor

I have since reorganised my army for an additional 30 strength points...

Fantasy Octopod Archer Standees

okumarts released some fantasy octopods on his patreon, two poses but in a number of color options. I decided on the green skin, and decided to modify one of them into an archeropod. I need some bow-armed guys too, right?

I gotta say, these guys are a dream come true for me. I have wanted octopod tree dwellers for probably 40 years now... first as toys, then miniatures, then as add-on rules, and now as standees. Dave has hit me with the right product at the right time.

Five Leagues From The Borderlands 2

In an attempt to foster more solo gaming, I am trying a two-step approach. I have set up my next game of "Five Leagues Beyond The Borderlands," with the intent of knocking out a game either tonight after I get home from work or early tomorrow morning.

Here we have Quackmore, Puddles, their Hired Guide with a bow, and three Villagers moving in to explore some ruins. Unfortunately, a band of Outcasts led by a Killer are also investigating the area. Pudfles quickly led the three Villagers into a small cluster of trees and the whole group prepared to face the villains...
